In my current role, I specialize in cultivating partnerships with volunteers and homeless communities, fostering their active engagement and collaboration. Through effective case management, I assess and meet the diverse needs of homeless individuals by providing personalized resources and support. I co-facilitate community-based events aimed at addressing the urgent needs of the unhoused population. Additionally, I initiate and oversee successful fundraisers to enhance outreach efforts effectively.

As a Graduate-Level Intern in the Social and Behavioral Science field, I provided in custody psychotherapeutic interventions to justice-involved individuals and their families. Collaborating with licensed therapists, I assisted in conducting individual and group therapy sessions focusing on trauma recovery, family relations, anger management, and cognitive skills for individuals incarcerated in San Bernardino County.I conducted ORAS assessment interviews, provided transitional care plans, and handled administrative tasks such as collecting consent forms, program applications, and documentation. By establishing rapport with clients through empathetic communication, I contributed to building trusting, therapeutic relationships and facilitated constructive group dynamics. I led group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based and creative approaches to engage participants, promote a sense of community, and foster a supportive environment. My responsibilities also included completing clinical documentation following the SOAP method.

As a Bachelor Level Social Work Intern, I actively collaborated with a diverse multidisciplinary team comprising counselors and teachers to provide ongoing support to at-risk students. I developed and successfully implemented a substance abuse prevention program, which was utilized over ten times during the current school year and consistently received positive feedback for its effectiveness in educating and supporting students. I provided immediate and compassionate crisis intervention for students experiencing bullying, grief, and family disruptions, assisting them in navigating and overcoming challenging emotional and social situations, fostering resilience and well-being. My responsibilities included conducting comprehensive assessments using the DSM-5 to accurately diagnose and understand client needs, selecting and implementing the most effective treatment modalities for clients to ensure personalized and evidence-based care, and designing and executing case plans tailored to individual client goals and circumstances.
