I am a senior at the University of Rhode Island and I am currently looking for teaching roles in the area. Ever since I was little, I have always looked up to my mom as a teacher and known that I have always wanted to follow in her footsteps. I remember playing teacher in her Kindergarten classroom and knowing from an early age that that is what I wanted to do. There is nothing better to me than watching and supporting a child to learn and grow. I have working with children ever since I was just 14 years old and it is something that I would love to continue to do. I started out as a camp counselor for a 3 Summers, which then turned into working in childcare centers after that. Working with younger children as always been a passion of mine, as it is amazing to help them to develop and grow. I have worked with ages 12 months up to 4 years old in centers, and well as done my student teaching in Kindergarten and First Grade classroom, however, it is my goal to become a lead teacher in a Pre-K classroom. I hope to be a teacher that is able to inspire my students get them excited to learn and grow!
