River Island was where I worked throughout my time at college and University. My skills and experience within the Fashion industry have improved immensely since starting here. From working in a team to achieve our daily and weekly KPIs, whilst also trusted to go beyond my role as a sales advisor and help with Visual Merchandising across both departments Womenswear and Menswear. I love this as it allows me to express my creativity within the store. When doing this allows me to become familiar with the stock we have in store and improves my service when helping to style customers.

My first job in retail was at New Look. This was when my interest in fashion started. I enjoyed dealing with customers which helped to improve my communication skills and confidence when dealing with the public, whilst also learning how to provide solutions to customers' issues quickly and efficiently to ensure queues didn't start to build up. Further I also sometimes supported the delivery team in which I was able to understand the process behind how operations worked.

In this Job, I worked in an office answering e-mails and phone calls, whilst also photocopying and scanning important information into the system. I was responsible for helping my manager out to help get her work submitted on time so therefore being organized to meet the deadlines was crucial.
