I believe in the power of storytelling. I am a systems change agent with more than a decade-long track record of success specializing in training public speakers, in person and virtually, to become trusted messengers by identifying values and telling their stories to create meaningful change in their own communities. I believe in the power of education. I am the first person in my family to graduate with a college degree. Three generations of women in my family were in the audience cheering me on each time I walked across the stage to receive my diplomas for my bachelor’s degree and then my master’s degree in social work. It is a joy to dedicate my skills to help others learn and create their own change with their own power. I believe in the power of advocacy. My career has focused on ending violence in many forms. I partner with people who have lived experiences of intimate partner violence, gun violence and sexual assault. I have been inspired countless times by the courageous survivors I have worked with over the years who speak their truth to power and create positive change through legislative advocacy.
