Throughout my life I was always told that I tend to think outside of the box, and that I was always an outgoing and talkative person. I knew those were special, yet I never knew what type of career I could do to put my two best traits to the test and to show people what I am capable of. It wasn’t until I got older, I realized that communications was a major that spoke to me and my best traits. I am now a senior graduating this May at Ohio University as a communications major. I am looking for any type of job roles that fall into the line of communications, marketing, public relations, human resources, social media or journalism. I want to help companies with anything from improving their emails being sent to colleagues, to postings on social media, to enhancing the group work and relationships in the workplace. My creativity, communication & innovation truly shine in places where I can work with a team as well as independently. A place where I can show my writing and communication skills one minute, then marketing and social media ideas the next. Whatever company I may find myself at, I want many outsiders to know that the company values who they are, and truly cares for their consumers, and other colleagues. We can prove that to people through the use of communication. Communication is a necessity and a daily need for any company. I want to prove to companies that anyone can have an outgoing, well-written, database. I have taken many classes and participated in many different kinds of work at Ohio University to show my writing, communication, teamwork and innovation skills. I am excited to bring something new to a company, while learning many new things through my colleagues at the same time.
