Schedules 1,150 annual flight hours for two BE-200 King Airs and maintains the flexibility to accept short-fuse mission tasking in support of 7th Fleet Logistic Operations. Integrating foreign military forces and executing multinational exercises to strengthen alliances and our force protection status abroad.

I winged in June 2016 and was selected to fly the MH-60S. I flew the MH-60S from June 2016 until September 2020. I completed WESTPAC deployment cycle, SUSTEX, and Northern Strike with HSC-4. After fully qualifying on the MH-60S, I was hand selected to join HSC-8 for Northern Edge, a joint-forces exercise off the coast of Alaska. In 2020, I was selected to return to fixed wing community to operate the C-12 Beechcraft out of Okinawa, Japan.

I coordinate USFJ resources on behalf of USN forces to ensure inbound USN aviation units have the resources to safely and successfully execute their mission. I coordinate lodging, transportation, and working spaces on behalf of personnel. I coordinate support equipment, fuel reservations, ramp space, and hangar space for aircraft. I coordinate ROM management and manage meal delivery and COVID tests are provided to inbound/outbound units. Additionally, I function as Command Security Manager and ensure that secret clearances and spaces are properly managed for 250 personnel and 5 geographically separated bases across the island of Okinawa.

I filled a gapped billet as Administrative Department Head immediately upon arriving in Okinawa, Japan. There, I managed 15 specialists in service of 250 at Command Fleet Activities Okinawa. Additionally, I was the functional director of all Administrative Programs including several programs that encompassed tenant commands and thousands of Navy Sailors across five geographically separated locations. I designed, managed, and executed the Installation HQ budget. I developed and Integrated programs to support and and recognize the the Master Labor Contractors, Japanese locals hired by the Command. I established and implemented new processes that improved workforce efficiency by more than 20% and reduced rework by over 50%. I establish an internal audit processes for administrative functions that identified entitlement and travel reimbursement discrepancies which resulted in over $35,000 refunded to Sailors stationed overseas.

I integrated and meticulously coordination between all squadron departments including maintenance, administration, safety, and training to ensure the safe execution of operational tasking and training missions. I scheduled future flight operations to maintain proficiency, currency, and qualifications standards for 32 pilots and 28 aircrewmen during operational workups and deployments. While in this position, the operations department received regional “Best Practice” awards for safety and qualification management processes that I designed and implemented.

Program Manager: I was charged with two large-scale maintenance programs that affected the day-to-day operations of 280 personnel specifically related to the maintenance, inspections, launch and recovery of eight helicopters at an operational squadron. These duties included regular audits of internal systems and comprehensive training of all maintenance personnel. During this period both programs received "outstanding" scores during the squadron's pre-deployment Aviation Maintenance Inspection (AMI).Personnel Manager: I was entrusted with the 25 undesignated junior sailors. I was responsible for managing day-to-day responsibilities related to the maintenance, inspections, launch and recovery of eight aircraft while underway and ashore. I managed career development of all departmental personnel and the associated administrative process. I developed and implemented innovative training plans to streamline the process for qualifying and transitioning these undesignated Sailors into maintenance divisions of their interest, which measurably increased retention and improved moral.
