-Work collaboratively with other teachers and staff to develop curriculum to meet the needs of students.-Design well-structured lessons with challenging, measurable objectives and appropriate student engagement strategies, pacing, sequence, activities, materials, resources, technologies, and grouping.-Possess knowledge of the developmental levels of students in the classroom and the different ways these students learn by providing differentiated learning experiences that enable all students to progress toward meeting intended outcomes.-Design units of instruction with measurable outcomes and challenging tasks requiring higher-order thinking skills that enable students to learn the knowledge and skills defined in state standards/local curricula.-Consistently use instructional practices that are likely to motivate and engage most students.-Consistently and effectively collaborate with colleagues in such work as developing standards-based units, examining student work, analyzing student performance, and planning appropriate interventions.-Participate in relevant professional development and professional learning communities.-Submit records related to attendance, student progress, and other UI program requirements on time.-Document student grades, evaluations, and progress as district mandates.-Be responsible for enforcing the school-wide student code of conduct to create an environment safe and conducive to always learning.-Build rapport with students, families, community, and school staff-Model professional and ethical standards when interacting with students, parents, peers, and the community.-Responsible for additional general duties as indicated by the principal and directives of the Superintendent.-Complete other duties as assigned.
