• Counsel prospective students on the enrollment process and graduate opportunities at Springfield College; including but not limited to identifying, recruiting and enrolling students• Interview applicants one-on-one to gain vital information about goals and motivations• Assesse interests and skills of students to help them to pursue a suitable major • Provide timely and accurate financial aid information to student questions and requests• Counsel students and parents in the financial aid application process and college costs• Participate in admission open houses and financial aid information sessions on and off campus• Maintain social networking pages/profiles for the department as well as explore new websites to establish social networks• Design marketing & e-marketing materials on a range of projects for brochures and advertisements • Develop and implement effective outreach strategies to support enrollment objectives• Design and deliver presentations to groups of prospective students at college fairs, corporations and other events• Evaluate candidate applications to ensure admissions standards are met• Aid in the initial file review for all completed applicants, making admissions recommendations for program admission • Consult with program directors for formal admission into all education programs • Act as a liaise for internal and external groups that take part in the admissions process, such as marketing, academics, financial aid, and student services to successfully complete registrations • Aid in the maintenance of the admission CRM, pulling reports and making updates as necessary to support the department and the College as a whole• Assist with large campus events, such as open houses, accepted student’s day• Facilitate training of new employees in making calls, how to set up appointments, handling prospective students questions and understanding the school compliance

• Recruit students for bachelor’s degree with a primary focus on students transferring from other colleges and universities• Communicate consistently and effectively with prospective students via phone, email, text messaging and printed media• Assist prospective students with admission processes from the inquiry stage though the admitted stage• Establish and maintain a dynamic, cooperative relationship with program chairs and faculty in areas of transfer programs• Meet quantitative and qualitative departmental goals for inquires, applications and admitted and enrolled students• Develop initiatives that will contribute to annual enrollment goals for inquires, applications and accepted students• Represent the college at college career fairs and professional conferences • Initiate and maintain partnerships with community colleges and other organizations to facilitate and enhance student recruitment • Assist with events as needed (open house, accepted students day, welcome back programs, award ceremonies)
