I am a dramatherapist in private practice in Edinburgh and online, specialising in working with neurodivergent clients and those who have experienced trauma. Creative Wellness FacilitatorFreelance Nov 2022 - PresentI create and facilitate opportunities for creative wellness in the form of three-day retreats, one-off events and workshops, monthly wellness walks and other projects including partnerships.Previous events have included:- Creative wellness retreats involving both indoor dramatherapy-based activities and outdoor work to explore themes relevant to the season.- Wellness walks using conversation, storytelling and ritual to explore lessons from nature throughout the year- One-off workshops using dramatherapy and mythology- Speaking at conferences, such as an international Myth conference, the Fates and Graces Mythologium, in July 2023.- Corporate partnerships, such as a partnership with an aparthotel in Edinburgh involving creating self-love Valentine's Day cards to be placed in its 72 apartments and leading creative wellness public events for their community.- Dramatherapy talks and creative wellness workshops in education and care settings for young people.- A creative wellness festival at the Leith Arches featuring a live art exhibition (where local multi-media artists created their work live), creative wellness workshops, and drop in activities throughout the day such as collage-making and print-making.

DramatherapistThe Alma Project Apr 2023 - May 2024Edinburgh, Scotland, United KingdomI provide group and one-to-one dramatherapy online for individuals with severe and enduring mental health challenges. I established the programme Access the Alma Project. Adults who would like to access Alma's in-person therapeutic arts groups but feel unable to due to their mental health can access free dramatherapy. These are short-term interventions with the goal of transitioning to long-term support from the in-person therapeutic arts groups provided by Alma.This role involves undertaking assessments, keeping progress notes and evaluation at both individual and project-wide levels.

Scotland Funding ManagerChristians Against Poverty Jan 2021 - Jun 2022Edinburgh, Scotland, United KingdomAs Scotland Funding Manager for CAP, a national debt counselling charity, I was responsible for all of Scotland’s major donors, statutory funding, and trust funding for the charity. Being the only team member in Scotland (with head office in England), this required autonomous decision making, time management and prioritisation which I would bring to this role. It was my responsibility to research opportunities, create proposals and manage databases. Working with the government and trusts required excellent stakeholder communication.
