Abigail Pryce-Cutting is an experienced and passionate educator with 26 years of teaching students of all ages. Ms Cutting has instructed and administered educational learning curricula to students in preschool to elementary, to trainee teachers and to community leaders. Before coming to the U.S, Abigail served in community-based programs organized by her local church and the teachers' training college in Guyana, where she was integral in the development of curricula and teaching for underserved children, youth and adults; provided voluntary services in literacy and numeracy for underserved and at-risked children at two orphanages and catered for students with Special Education Needs.Abigail is an innovative thinker in teaching and learning. Her transition from elementary level to tertiary level teaching was a smooth one due to her innovative application of instructional design and differentiated instruction across various learning needs and abilities. She has also served as a mentor to youth leaders leading a nonprofit organization in Guyana called the Guyana Animation Network (GAN) Inc. Through GAN, Ms Cutting has supported the development of children and youth pursuing digital and creative skills, and was twice awarded a Certificate of Appreciation for her unwavering support. Ms Pryce-Cutting is open to new career opportunities in business, research, hospitality, education (special and/or general), instructional design and community-based educational leadership using innovative techniques and resources.
