My name is Abigail and I am a responsible and highly skilled individual seeking a position in which I utilize my seasoned interpersonal, technical and artistic skills to bless those around me, accomplish goals, and assist clients in an efficient way. In the past year, I have launched my own art business called ArtByAbbyGrace in which I teach art classes for local children and also sell my own personal work through my Etsy. I have a bachelor’s degree in Pre-Art Therapy from Arcadia University and my main courses focused on art therapy practice, psychology, sociology, and multicultural diversity. I have completed three unique year-long internships that offered a wide range of experience in the world of interpersonal work; the most meaningful one to me was serving with a non profit organization called Chariots for Hope doing social work in Kenya. In addition, I led an arttherapy program for refugees in Athens, Greece, in which I implemented the research of my senior thesis on trauma informed care with refugees at the Crossroads Center that my church partners with. Additionally, I served the CCO (Coalition for Christian Outreach) completing a year long volunteer college ministry internship within Arcadia’s Christian Fellowship after having served for four years on this fellowship’s leadership team. I chose to lead as an act of service, as I was committed to the goal of the group and delighted in helping it reach people. I am deeply compassionate and have a real desire to foster relationships, inspire creativity, and work efficiently. My easy-going and friendly attitude creates anenvironment where people can relax, feel comfortable, and be blessed by my assistance. I am an incredibly fast learner and take advantage of any opportunity in which I can acquire a new skill.
