During my time in the company, I was proud to receive the Highest Net Sales Award in the South West including ourselves and our sister company Andrews. I covered all aspects of the sales through the company, from initial viewings and valuations through to the sales progression and completion.

After three years at Hamlets Lettings I was approached by Read Maurice to join their company and offered the opportunity to extend my experience into property sales, although my past experience would also be useful to assist their Lettings Department. I left Hamlets with their good wishes for furthering my knowledge and career in the property industry. Currently I meet with buyers and sellers of mainly residential properties in and around the Cheltenham / North Gloucestershire area. I arrange and accompany viewings and carry through sales transactions to their completion.I have successfully passed an NFoPP Level 2 Award in Introduction to Residential Property Management. This award is not only a nationally-recognised industry qualifications but means I am now a fully qualified member of the Association of Residential Letting Agents (ARLA) which is a professional, self-regulating body specialising in raising and maintaining practice standards in the UK private rental sector.

I began at Hamlets Lettings Agency in Cheltenham as a trainee Lettings Negotiator. The company managed a large portfolio of fully managed properties as well as finding tenants for landlords wishing to manage the properties themselves for whom we organised deposits, leases and checked references. I soon became Senior Lettings Negotiator in charge of the Student Properties Department and my duties included meeting prospective landlords, valuing new properties and dealing with existing landlord and tenant concerns. During my time at Hamlets I more than doubled the number of student properties which the company fully managed.
