•Manage four projects over two portfolios in support of the Department of Veteran Affairs (VA) VistA Evolution Initiative accounting for 20 million dollars annually and 7 full-time project management staff:•Engage stakeholders establishing fruitful and effective client relationships•Provide advisory services aligning the projects with the overarching executive program management office’s vision•Lead effective project teams, focusing on communication, professional development and client delivery•Facilitate successful transition of projects from the Project Management Accountability System (PMAS) to the Veteran-focused Integration Process (VIP) leveraging Rational Tools, including the initial VIP pilot project

• Lead pharmacy product in support of the Department of Defense (DoD) Federal Health Care Center (FHCC) Initiative with the Department of Veteran Affairs (VA), leveraging skills to increase patient care and safety • Establish an integrated pharmacy team engaging both DoD and VA stakeholders, technical, functional and data experts to identify pharmacy data interoperability shortfalls and propose a comprehensive, strategic solution • Direct pharmacy initiatives within the complex DoD multi-system healthcare IT environment, including:o Data Mapping: Initialized and completed pharmacy data interoperability mapping between the DoD and VA, leveraging national standards, resulting in an increase of 16% in successful transmissionso Pharmacy Legacy System Modernization: Developed requirements, standard operation procedures, business processes and acquisition process for the legacy system modernization increasing efficiencies and patient safety at 101 facilities and mitigating transition risks• Reengineer business-processes promoting efficient data, information technology and management processes• Launch data analysis team to provide valuable insights• Employ risk management methodologies within a complex government/contractor environment

• Supported the DoD in the Military Health Systems Directorate’s FHCC Initiative across multiple products, including:o Pharmacy: Developed strategic requirements and acquisition strategy for the initial DoD/VA product o Identity Management, Patient Eligibility, and Access Management: Led small technical integrated project team facilitating the development of a joint system o Joint Patient Registration: Facilitated on-going product development life cycle o Presentation Layer: Managed deployment in mandated 90-day timeframe o Workflow Management: Created, developed and presented major client briefings to Senior Leadership • Wrote, edited and maintained technical documentation at all stages of the Military Health System Life Cycle• Engaged cross- team pollination for information exchange and application of best practices
