I am currently pursuing a Master of Biomedical and Health Science at Monash University, with a particular focus on neuroscience and cancer biology. My research project explored the neural regulation of cancer, with a strong emphasis on abnormal metabolism—a topic that continues to fuel my academic curiosity. My master's thesis investigates critical aspects of cancer cachexia, including the analysis of body composition, tumour growth, and neuronal populations, further expanding my understanding of the complex relationship between the nervous system and cancer.My passion for neuroscience was ignited during my undergraduate studies, and it has only grown through my 9-month intensive research project at Monash University. I’m also a dance teacher with over 10 years of experience in various styles, where I foster creativity, discipline, and self-expression in students. These diverse experiences have taught me to be adaptable, work effectively in teams, and communicate with clarity—skills that I carry into all facets of my life.I am passionate about pursuing a PhD in neuroscience, with a vision to contribute meaningfully to the scientific community. I aim to explore further how neural mechanisms can drive cancer progression, while also applying my background in education and mentoring to inspire future scientists.
