This has been a great opportunity for me to provide front-line customer service, sales, and account management for this global brand with expansive product lines across the kitchen & bath, power, interiors, and hospitality markets. After starting as a temporary employee, I was hired three months later as Customer Service Agent I before being promoted to Level II, and then I was assigned additional Deductions Coordinator role in 2015. I am currently working as Customer Service Agent II and Deductions Coordinator for Robern (high-end medicine cabinet/vanity division) covering all of the Central and Southern US, Canada, and UK. • Manage 200 independent retailers and a national retailer owned by Home Depot with responsibility for order processing, claims management, returns, inventory management, product inquiries, and client correspondence. • Manage deductions for all of Robern’s accounts include validating customer claims; investigating order fulfillment process; checking past invoices, packing slips, and order pricing; and closing claims by issuing credits or charge back letters as appropriate. • Created most of the quality process documents for Robern that streamlined operations by providing step-by-step procedures for eight different processes. • Assisted in establishing an area in the office for Robern products that enabled customer service agents to have “hands on” access to products for assisting with resolving complex customer issues. • Currently working with IT on Home Depot subsidiary account to resolve EDI issues; located $40,000 in orders that had not come through and contributed to streamlining the ordering/fulfillment process to prevent future problems. • Assigned to a complex, recurring damaged product issue in Canada to identify the cause and develop solutions to eliminate the problem within the supply chain. • Achieved Brand Ambassador Certification and completed training on the Oz Principle.
