I am a lunar exploration expert working towards establishing a permanent human presence on the Moon. Over the last 15 years, I have cultivated a deep understanding of lunar materials, space resource utilization (SRU) strategies, technologies and knowledge gaps.My research interests include the identification and characterization of these resources, as well as mission planning and landing site selection for lunar missions. My previous work has included the development of novel techniques and technologies for the analysis of lunar materials and the assessment of potential landing sites. I am particularly interested in advancing our understanding of the economic and strategic value of lunar resources and their potential applications in future space exploration and development.I feel proud to have been the first lunar geologist hired as a full-time employee at a private lunar exploration company where I was responsible for landing site selection and the integration of technical and business requirements into the mission's goals and objectives. In 2014, I founded the SGAC’s Space Exploration Working Group, an international and interdisciplinary group formed by students and young professionals. Currently the group has over 100 members worldwide conducting high-quality science, policy and law projects on space exploration. This experience allowed me to build my management and leadership skills but also to create a large network of space experts, organizations and companies. When I am not on the Moon, I like to visit schools to share my enthusiasm for science and space with students.
