Current• Strategic leader for a Human Resources team supporting a workforce of 170 employees. Responsible for ensuring HR programs and initiatives align with overall business objectives and drive organizational success.• Lead a team of 5 HR professionals in managing key areas including employee relations, development, job satisfaction, risk mitigation, benefits, payroll structuring, budget management, and accountability frameworks.• Strategically oversee a comprehensive portfolio of HR services, providing creative, results-oriented solutions that balance business needs with employee satisfaction.• Demonstrate exceptional communication and leadership abilities, including presentation, public speaking, interpersonal skills, relationship management, negotiation, diplomacy, and influence-building.• Skilled in complex dispute resolution and adept at navigating intricate political environments across diverse clients in Los Angeles County.• Author and refine policies and procedures, maintaining meticulous attention to detail and organization.• Provide advisory support to directors and managers on labor laws and employee policies, including ADA, FMLA, and OSHA compliance.• Manage all aspects of Workers' Compensation and other legal claims, ensuring swift and fair resolutions.• Conduct HR audit preparations and coordinate compliance efforts with Los Angeles County and the Los Angeles Mayor's office.• Oversee employee wellness, workplace safety, and OSHA compliance initiatives, including COVID-19 protocols.• Ensure HR policies comply with federal, state, and local employment regulations through regular legal consultations and policy reviews.• Lead EEOC reporting and compliance, enforce employee regulations, and uphold quality standards in contracts and policies.• Direct full-cycle recruitment processes, implementing innovative strategies to address hiring challenges and secure top talent.
