Creating a strong and engaged online presence for boutique travel company, My Native Travel. My Native Travel design and deliver exceptional travel experiences, using local know how. There is no one size fits all. Our aim was to build brand awareness and create an overall look and feel for My Native online.

Reported directly to the Head of Communications, I was the lead press officer for the Council’s Adult and Community Services Directorate achieving at least two positive pieces of coverage a week in either local, national or online media. I project managed events for a range of difficult to reach audiences. I produced and edited the staff newspaper, which was distributed to over 3000 members of staff, managed the redesign of the staff recognition programme - the Excellence Awards and supported the Head of Communications. In addition to this I was integral to the decision to adopt social media as a tool to communicate our messages and ‘listen’ to our residents.

Reporting directly to the Executive Chairman at a public affairs agency, handling events, programmes and campaigns for United Nations and Commonwealth organisations, as well as the corporate sector. The lead account executive on 4 local and seven international accounts, notably The Caine Prize for African Writing – ‘The African Booker’, The Nippon Foundation – Japan’s largest grant-making foundation, BAFTA premiere of Award-Winning documentary ‘Mo & Me’ by Salim Amin and Interpal – charity for Palestinians in need.
