Hello! I am an alumni for the University of Oklahoma with a bachelor’s in criminology and double minors in international studies and criminal justice.I’ve had the great opportunity of serving as the International Expansion Coordinator for the Outreach Committee for the Big Event at OU. I love helping others and giving back to my community. The Big Event is Oklahoma’s largest day of community service, sending thousands of volunteers to job sites all around Oklahoma. This position allows me to work with the University of Oklahoma’s international study abroad centers to grow the Big Event and give back to their communities. During my experience in study abroad, I worked for Emiliano Bartolozzi's law firm in Italy, where I gained a global perspective about law.I currently am employed with the YWCA as a Domestic Violence Crisis Advocate where I have the opportunity to empower and advocate for survivors of domestic violence within the criminal justice system.I am always open to talking about social work and ways to give back to the community, whether that be through public service or nonprofit organizations!
