-Created, coordinated and conducted Family Planning and Assessment Team training for surrounding agencies. This training focused on what paperwork and information to highlight when presenting a case to the Family Planning and Assessment Team. -Collaborated with a small team to create a “Quality Services Manual” to guide Family Service Specialists. -Attended several statewide meetings as a representative of the department. -Designed brochures for Family Partnership Meetings and the Family Planning and Assessment Team detailing the process.

-Motivated alumni, parents, and friends of the University to participate in annual giving by “cold calling”.-Persuaded alumni, parents, and friends of the University to donate to the endowment while providing answers about the current state of the University and programs. -Contacted over 4,500 individuals and raised over $7,000 as of May 2014. -Assisted in training three new callers for the first two weeks of fall and spring semester.

-Worked with a small team to successfully obtain organization recognition from the state chapter being the first student based program unit recognized in the state of Virginia. -Recruited new leadership and led the planning and leadership training for new Directors of the unit.-Collaborated with members to create new operating bylaws for the future members of the organization.

-Helped develop a new care management program for members of the center and new clients.-Contributed to the development of a training module for office staff. This training focused on ways to conduct intake phone calls for the new care management program. -Contributed in grant research which included searching for grants, understanding grant requirement, and evaluations of the potential to support the Primeplus Norfolk Senior Center. -Assembled materials to create a Resource Library for seniors and caretakers. -Researched resources for an elder abuse initiative and contributed to ECPI University students’ research. -Led games and activities for seniors in the Adult Day Program.

-Managed a team of 19 student members to plan and execute a variety of events in weekly meetings.-Executed an average of two events a month while managing a budget of $54,000. -Assisted 14 Executive Board members in planning 189 events over the year with over 54,000 in attendance. The large events included top-level talent that performed for thousands of students.-Participated in the hiring process of 26 chair members and selection of general members. -Supervised 4 chair members’ with all aspects of planning, marketing, advertising, security and logistics of events.

-Helped freshman transition from living at home to life in a college dorm. -Coordinated fun and educational programs to enhance the on-campus living experience.
