As the Clinical Head, I aided in hiring 3 new employees, created and managed roughly 10 therapeutic schedules, and provided team-bonding and support groups for the team, while maintaining a full-time case load.

In this position, I worked in over 15 different facilities throughout the greater Palm Beach Area. I facilitated both group and individual music therapy sessions and assessments in child-based facilities, hospitals, memory care units, addiction treatment centers, adults with developmental disabilities, and the public-school system.

During my internship at the Ann Storck Center, I worked with a wide variety of individuals with severe disabilities. My youngest client was 6 months old when I left, and my oldest were in their seventies. I developed and implemented music therapy sessions for preschoolers and PreK students, and individual and group sessions for adults, in both in-home and at-work settings. I developed my skills as a clinician under the supervision of their current Music Therapist. This included learning and perfecting new repertoire, creating and writing presentations, research papers, and business proposals, and further developing my professional documentation skills. I also learned my specific individual style as a clinician and left with a much broader scope of knowledge concerning individuals with severe disabilities.
