I worked for the Buxton Fringe Festival for two years, running the desk with two other managers. I developed my skills in event management and organisation in the role. Daily tasks included rotating the desk board to keep it up to date with daily events, training volunteers, conversing with customers and giving information where needed. This role required constant prioritisation, making sure urgent tasks were achieved and delegating to the desk volunteers where needed.
