I worked on an illustrated (historical) reference book with Dorling Kindersley and the Smithsonian Institute. Duties include: keeping track of the workflow; monitoring and updating the schedule; assisting with choosing images and picture research; content-based research; editing and taking in text; attending meetings; working with authors, editor and designers. During my time at Toucan I also worked on developing ideas, and social media promotion for existing titles.

In 2014-15 I served as poetry editor for the literary journal, Southern California Review, produced by USC's Master of Professional Writing Program. Following the closure of the MPW program at USC, I continued to be involved as a managing editor as the journal disaffiliated and relaunched under its new name: Exposition Review. I was also responsible for the journal's Twitter and Tumblr pages.
