I have a driven passion of electronics and robotics. I've been in robotics clubs since I've been in the sixth grade and enrolled in KVCC dual enrollment program at the age of 15 for the Electrical Technology and achieved the Kalamazoo RESA Honors Outstanding Senior Awards for the Electrical Technology program in 2022. In this degree, I've achieved a 4.0 and received a Walter B. Forbes scholarship. Throughout high school, I've worked and studied to become a licensed nail technician at 16 to start working part-time. Through balancing work, school, and sports, I have earned the Highest Honors Awards all four years of high school regarding a GPA of 3.8 or higher (I graduated with a 4.2 GPA in AP and IB classes). I have also lead as a leader in the Interact Club (working as Rotary International) as a way to better help and inspire my community, as well as foreign ones. I am fluent in speaking, writing, and conversational in English and Spanish as well as conversational in Chinese (Mandarin) due to my racial and cultural background; native Mexican father and native Taiwanese mother. I have been awarded for the members of National Honors Society program. In my last year of highschool, I became a student electricians for the technical crew of Portage Northerns Theater program. I am now working on motor control projects as well as heavy troubleshooting labs with my peers in the Electrical Technology center in KVCC. I wish to continue adding more experience and gaining knowledge in my career field specializing in troubleshooting and lab work/reports.
