Working alongside other departments to collaborate and design high quality networks utilising QGIS and SmallWorld across fourteen cities in the North East and Yorkshire. This includes ad-hoc GIS requests from internal and external teams, preparing design packs for the construction phases of projects, and working at DR3-DR0 stages to accurately reflect real-world infrastructure and ensure live service for customers whilst meeting RFS objectives. This occurs across various tasks such as Broken Orders, Signoff Queries, Patching Requests, and Metro AsBuilts. Additionally, general administration tasks are undertaken to maintain complete, current, and appropriately stored GIS and asset documentation in a centralised system including through timely and accurate uploads of documents to Depotnet and AsBuilt uploads as per RFS rollout.

Answering a high volume of calls whilst ensuring customer satisfaction and a high-quality level. The work involves dealing with sensitive information, carrying out stringent Data Protection Act checks, and identifying various types of customer vulnerability. The work involves frequent communication between both internal and external departments via phone calls and form work to ensure an accurate and efficient outcome. Additional work is also carried out enacting financial adjustments and logging complaints.

Providing high quality customer service both face to face and over the telephone, answering queries about the shopping centre and the city at large as well as assisting customers with complaints. Selling gift cards and loaning out wheelchairs and children’s buggies to those in the centre. Restocking displays and reorganisation of stock. Handling large quantities of cash and ensuring secure transition to the cash office when tills reached £5000.

A member of a team during events catered towards future postgraduate students in order to encourage them to sign up to the University, ensuring customer and guest satisfaction and going above and beyond when required.

Tutoring GCSE and A-Level students for their examinations. Developing tailored tutoring plans dependent on personal circumstances to support the work being undertaken at school and communicating clearly with guardians.

Working on certain events in a position of authority, being a point of call for non-senior ambassadors and working closely with university staff.

Duties have included but are not limited to:• Promoting the University of Central Lancashire via talks, tours, and guidance for potential students• Working within the University’s call centre• Campus tours for American Colleges• Working both in the office and in the public eye for events such as the Science Festival, the Art Festival and the European Day of Languages• Working with marketing on social media• Leading school groups from ages 7 upwards
