Conducts and reviews Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) in the capacity of an E1527-21 Environmental Professional (EP) Performs wetland/stream delineations for residential and commercial development across Central and Eastern North Carolina, and prepares and submits subsequent USACE & NCDWR permit requestsAudits transportation and construction projects for Clean Water Act 401/404 permit compliance, specifically the Complete 540 Interstate Project in tandem with NCTA and NCDOT

- Performs Phase I and II ESAs for both small and large-scale commercial and industrial real estate transactions nationwide, including 19 states. Projects have included portfolio acquisitions over multiple states and reports for 3,000+ acres. - Conducts soil and groundwater monitoring for remedial activities on contaminated lands within North Carolina, including drilling and groundwater monitoring well oversight.- Completes Preliminary Site Assessments (PSAs) for NCDOT road expansion projects. - Supervises underground storage tank (UST) removal activities across North Carolina including confirmation soil and groundwater sampling. - Assists in environmental permitting and sampling tasks, including preparations of Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPPs), EPCRA Tier II reporting, and wastewater discharge sampling. - Conducts visual emission (VE) testing (EPA Method 9) for compliance assistance at industrial manufacturing facilities and quarry mining/processing operations in North Carolina. - Prepares NEPA checklists through the federal nexus of the Housing and Urban Development Department (HUD) for Habitat for Humanity of Wayne-Goldsboro.

Environmental Scientist and Project Lead- Prepared Phase I ESAs for projects throughout the U.S.- Conducted Informal Biological Assessments for rare, threatened, and endangered species throughout the U.S.- Compiled NEPA Checklist (FCC Compliance Checklists) documents for telecommunications tower projects nationwide- Assisted in the completion of informal wetland delineations and stream determinations - Completed 401/404 wetland permitting with the USACE and associated state and local wetland permits - Assisted in the completion of Visual Impact Assessments for proposed telecommunications towers to comply with local zoning and historic preservation requirements- Completion of Section 106 NEPA compliance including completion of FCC Form 620/621 and associated State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO), local government, and tribal correspondence, and the placement of local public notices- Completion of FAA determination and FCC Antenna Structure Registration (ASR) Form 854 submissions - Assisted in the completion of NEPA Environmental Assessments (NEPA EA's) for non-compliant telecommunications towers and associated FCC ASR Form 854 submission Tower Climber and Rescue Training Certification - ENSA (September 2017 - January 2019)- Completed raptor nest surveys and removals throughout North and South Carolina- Assisted in the completion of vulture effigy installations on telecommunications towers nationwide

Park Assistant (Operations) at Lake Johnson Nature Park- Pursued long-term projects to better the logistical and operational aspects of the park- Managed teams of 3-8 employees in 8+ hour shifts - First Aid, CPR/AED, Active Shooter certified - Operated utility vehicles including 4X4 "gator", powerboat, and city truck - Conducted cash drawer balance and record keeping for small food items and boat rentals Cashier at Pullen Park Amusements (Nov. 2015 - Summer 2016)- Conducted ticket and souvenir transactions- Performed front desk customer service activities- Assisted with larger park events (i.e. Holiday Express)

Taught basic yoga classes to TRC members and guests.

Completed an Honors Thesis through year-long independent research study, field work, laboratory analysis, and report. This report was completed under the guidance of Dr. Lawrence Cahoon from UNCW Dept of Biology and Marine Biology, and with the assistance of Byron Toothman from the NC Coastal Reserve and National Estuarine Research Reserve. Field work was conducted at the UNCW Center for Marine Science on Masonboro Island NERR and Zeke's Island NERR. Laboratory analysis included knowledge and operation of IR- Mass Spectrometer, Direct Mercury Analyzer, and Ball-mill Homogenizer.
