I was in Girl Scouts from kindergarten to 12th grade. During my time in Scouting, I earned the Bronze, Silver, and Silver Trefoil awards. I also sold cookies each year and completed several service projects with my troop. I played sports throughout my school career and gained valuable experience working in a team and engaging in respectful competitive play. In middle and high school, I took art classes to work on my skills in order to pursue a career in the arts. In junior year, I got accepted into a vocational school for their animation program that I attended part-time. This course helped me gain valuable knowledge and skills in the animation and art field and I experienced a small work setting similar to what a studio would be like. In my sophomore year of high school, I applied for a part-time job at my local Michael's and was hired for the cashier position. Some responsibilities I had included ringing up customers, putting away returned items, assisting customers on the sales floor, preparing online orders, and running free events for customers. When I turned 18 I was promoted to Customer Experience Manager. I started my higher education at University of Central Florida, but after two semesters I determined it wasn't the best fit academically, and moved back home to Northern Virginia where I finished the rest of my intro level credits at community College. I am currently applying to nearby schools to transfer for a degree in Graphic Design. Upon returning home, I seemed out part time employment and got a job as a Hospitality Associate as a local gym, and I also walk dogs and house sit for pet owners in my area.
