I work as the coordinator for the Vibrant Future Coalition which serves the North Clackamas area of Clackamas, Oregon. I work to continually broaden my expertise in the area of drug and alcohol prevention as well as coalition development. I assist in the recruitment and retention of general and youth coalition members, as well as provide support for the youth coalition.I support the development, direction, and evaluation of fundraising activities including donations, corporate support/sponsorship, special events, and grants. I also implement public relations and communications strategies in order to support coalition goals and increase community awareness of VF coalition.I continually collaborate with community groups to strengthen and expand the coalition, including maintaining the 12 sector representatives. I also attend and provides support at necessary workshops, training, and events as a representative of the VF coalition. I develop marketing and media materials, campaigns, and opportunities in cooperation with the VF coalition.Finally, I am a board member and secretary for the North Clackamas Education Foundation, a board member for the Oregon Coalition of Prevention Professionals, a member of the Clackamas County Prevention Coalition and sit on the School-Based Task Force for Clackamas County.

I manage the Rex Putnam High School site and Northwest Family Services's on-site staff. I am a Certified Prevention Specialist and work with at-risk "core" and "universal" youth at Rex Putnam High School. I provide preventative services (counseling, education, community awareness and mobilization, referral to outside resources, development and implementation of evidence-based programming, etc.) to selective and universal students on site. I also refer indicated level youth to treatment services. I plan and implement classroom presentations based on drug and alcohol prevention.I work with the administrators and counselors on the schools Care Team, am a board member for the North Clackamas Education Foundation and a member of the Oregon Coalition of Prevention Professionals as well as a member of the Clackamas County Prevention Coalition.

I plan and implement prevention efforts for the "high risk" youth at Rex Putnam High School and Gardiner Middle School. I do one-on-one counseling with "core youth," deliver various research based curriculum groups in small and large group settings, assist with and manage the after-school volunteers and programming, hold various prevention campaigns and activities for youth and their families, and connect youth and their familes with appropriate outside resources as needed.I also work closely with the Care Team and Attendance Court at both school sites. I am a member of the Clackamas County Prevention Coalition and am working towards my Certified Prevention Specialist certificate.

I teach 7th and 8th grade Language Arts classes at Molalla River Middle School. I develop and differentiate curriculum and migrate my lesson plans to meet common core standards. I create modifications and adaptations to my lessons in order to provide multi-level instruction. I also teach Speech and Debate and the Lions Quest Health curriculum. I also sit as the Secretary on the school's Site Council.

I provide case management of females in Oregon Youth Authority (OYA) custody. I offer therepeutic counseling & small group services to youth age 12-18 who are in need of development in the emotional, relational, and spiritual domains. I assist in development and implementation of a strength-based program that pushed accountability while playing to the girls strengths and positive growth.
