I am a UCLA graduate with a degree in Biology and Evolutionary Medicine, on the pre-med track, with aspirations to work in Pediatric Emergency Medicine. I am passionate, not only about medicine, but also environmental justice and education, hoping to inspire social change in the fields of medicine, biology, and education.I have spent the last couple of years being involved in education in order to fulfill my love for science, children, and learning. My primary focus has been on primary and secondary, specifically in STEM education and empowerment among young children. Throughout these years, I have gained insight on classroom management, curriculum building and utilization, and collaboration.Concurrently with my work in education, I have also gained experience in the medical field. I have worked as a student nursing admin within the Labor and Delivery Unit and have also obtained an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) license. These experiences have given me the knowledge and experience with handling emergency medical situations, such as administering cardioplumonary resuscitation (CPR), trauma care and triage scenarios, and general patient care.
