The Managed Care Rotational Program (MCRP) is a one-year, rotational leadership development program focused on Cigna's senior segment. The program allows the opportunity to support multiple business units and work on a variety of high impact projects to improve operational efficiency. The program consists of three four-month long rotations that span over 12 months. Three rotations completed: Contracting, Network Operations & Coding, Medicaid Health Services• Compiled a competitive analysis of Chicago MA payers surrounding the following metrics: marketing, membership, benefits, products, and relationships. • Created a database tool to keep track of over 70 hospitals' key provisions to ensure accurate and standardized contract requirements.• Standardized and streamlined 6 reports into one dashboard to reduce duplicative materials taken out to providers- also allowing internal analysis of population health.• Built a dashboard which showed areas of opportunity for physicians to code more accurately and increase revenue potential.• Generated a monitoring report to help 1,000+ physicians track their annual wellness form completion and increase bonus potential.• Produced analysis on 3,300+ ancillary providers and created a spreadsheet displaying utilization breakdown and highlight preferred providers.• Established a capacity model for 200+ field based service coordinators to effectively manage 56,000 Texas Medicaid members, improve employee satisfaction, and reduce customer complaints.
