Over the year, I worked alongside the TOPSOIL Sales Team managing the corporate social media and website. On a day-to-day basis, I would ensure that deliveries were on time and in full, through constant communication with different stakeholders. Any issues were resolved quickly, usually on the same day, to maximize customer satisfaction and maintain strong relationships. I used my strong analytical skills to report and make recommendations on the success of campaigns across our platforms as well as produce customer segmentation analysis. This information was vital for the team to identify opportunities to improve and remain competitive.

This role has helped me to develop my communication skills in a fast-paced busy environment. I ensured that I provided good customer service and responded to any issues that arose in a positive manner. I work well under pressure completing tasks to a high standard in a busy work environment. As a trusted crew member, I took on leadership roles during some shifts. I am flexible and took on a range of tasks and worked in different areas in the store as required by the team.

Each day often brought something new, different customers, but also different team members. This meant that I learnt how to adapt quickly and work effectively with people. Often working in Private Boxes, I worked directly to provide an overall great customer experience for everyone. My key responsibilities included serving food and drink to customers at Race Meetings and other events as well as maintaining a clean, tidy, and welcoming environment for the customers. Overall, I believe this helped me develop a high level of confidence in customer service
