I plan photo shoots, write press releases, design marketing materials, create content and run social media handles and help handle the day-to-day external communications for the College. I also conduct media monitoring and analytics reports online.

Kent, Ohio

I conducted interviews and wrote articles for Kent State University's online newsletter. I had over 15 stories published. I was also in charge of sending out the weekly Kent State events distribution to press contacts via Meltwater. In my second semester, I was promoted to Assistant Coordinator and was in charge of assigning and editing student stories.

Cincinnati Area, Ky

I wrote external press releases and communications plans for internal distribution around the company's seven regions in Ohio and Kentucky. I also conducted secondary research on various topics, created multiple employee newsletters for internal distribution and kept a record of media coverage for all regions.

I posted three times a week on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram using Hootsuite, designed marketing materials, and wrote a feature article on the Cincinnati Internship Network Connection program (CINC).
