As a member of the editorial team in the Shanghai office, I was responsible for leading projects for regional pharmaceutical clients. We produced content and arranged logistics for regional congresses and advisory boards from start to finish; including speaker liaison, program books, slides for presentations, on-site rehearsals and more. My biggest challenge was coordinating interests from clients, speakers and congress organizers from different countries and cultures in Asia and elsewhere. I also produced content for digital deliverables (websites, apps, etc), wrote and administered online surveys, drafted manuscripts for review articles, and led a major project collecting and synthesizing evidence across a therapy area.

While at SCRIPT, I managed a varity of projects, including advisory boards (both in person and online), research and review manuscripts, conference posters, slide kits and educational materials. Occasionally I stepped into a medical writer role to cover advisory boards or to produce content for online or print materials.As a member of a small but growing team I took initiative to improve office processes, train new staff members and to support the company vision.

As a Host at the Ontario Science Centre I spent most of my working hours out on the floor, interacting with visitors. My duties included answering visitors' questions and helping to enhance visitors' experiences. My favourite part of the job was to learn more about visitors and why they chose to visit the OSC, and to help enrich their visit. I was trained in demonstrations including Cool Science (liquid nitrogen), Hot Spots (short presentations of current science), and Electricity (hair standing on end!). I took initiative to develop several new visitor experiences, including the mealworm and typewriter exhibit extensions.
