Paraeducator Sped
CurrentWorks with students including moderate to severely challenged physically,emotionally or communicatively students with learning needs. Assists with the implementation of goals and objectives of student Individualized Educational Program (IEP). Provides positive behavior modification examples in social, emotional, and functional skills, as applicable to the program; monitors and supports positive behavioral programs as defined by the IEP. Engage in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay informed about best practices in special education and enhance your skills in supporting students with disabilities. Empathetic and patience in working with students who may struggle with academic tasks or exhibit challenging behaviors, understanding that each student has their own unique strengths and challenges.
