Scrum Master
Current- Continually assess and improve Agile processes and practices within the team by identifying areas for enhancement, implementing changes and promoting a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring efficient and effective delivery.- Work closely with the Product owner in running a discovery roadmap session to ensure we have a shared goal of priorities and deliverables.- Facilitating scrum ceremonies like Daily stand up, Backlog refinement, Sprint Planning, Sprint review and Retrospective and workshop with Stakeholders.- Successfully transition newly formed teams through their transition from waterfall to agility. Helping them drive an empirical approach, establish better ways of working and lead them through the formation stage.- Teach problem-solving techniques and help the team become better self-organisers. I imply the use of open questioning and power of silence techniques to allow the team member(s) to think/reflect on what has been said, giving them the opportunity to suggest ways of improving themselves whilst I facilitate their decision.- Ensure an open and conducive environment which fosters self-organising and self- managing teams, creativity, and transparency always.- Collaborate with multiple business units to identify and analyse process improvement and provide solutions that meet high-level business requirements and objectives.- Help the team with creating ‘Ways of Working ‘agreement, including organisational Definition of Ready and Done, to ensure it became their practice.- Coach teams on how to improve on the use of engineering practices and tools (i.e., peer review, pair programming, BDD etc) to foster retention of high quality in how it is done and in increments at the end of sprint.- Generate and track metrics such burnup/down charts to measure progress through inspection and adaptation to reduce cycle time and remove blockers.- Engage with fellow Scrum Masters to identify opportunities for improvement across delivery processes.
