High-level architecture definition, planning and implementation of software for the entertainment system of BMW connected cars. More specifically, development of user (driver) personalization software responsible for:- Driver detection and authentication (keyfob, NFC, smartphone, etc).- Cloud import/export of driver settings.- Automatic synchronization of user settings to the vehicle’s Electronic Control Units (mirror adjustment, seat position, climate settings, etc).- Providing user profile related APIs for usage by other vehicle components.Tech: C++, Qt, Zuul.

Main rendering developer on the Core component team (rendering, routing and searching) for mobile navigation applications, with the following responsibilities: - Development of the map rendering engine (OpenGL ES).- Development of GLSL shaders.- Performance measuring and optimization of the rendering processes.- Architecture definition and improvements in the Core software framework.- Creation of tools for graphic resource processing, such as textures, 3D models, and custom visual map styles.- Improvements to the build and Continuous Integration systems.- Support and direct intervention in iOS and Android development teams for the integration of the Core component.
