My most recent professional venture is into the virtual assistance world. As a virtual assistant, I assist entrepreneurs and small business owners to do email marketing, social media and admin tasks, so they can focus on growing their business. I started my work experience in various psychological fields, progressing into marketing and social media as a copywriter, culminating in my current role as a virtual assistant.As a Bachelor of Psychology, I'm passionate about understanding the intricacies of people's behavior, including myself. I'm also an enthusiast of words, which explains my love of writing and journaling.I approach my work meticulously and steadily, making sure things get done rather than leaving them unfinished. My inclination toward having high standards often drives me to do things in the most correct and efficient way possible, sometimes unconsciously. I like observing things, especially when I get to a new environment or meet new people. That's why I have great attention to details, catching what others usually miss. This helps me in multifaceted tasks in fields like data analysis and research.My reluctance to change render me to stay in a safe zone, even when I realize I need to get out. I tend to downplay my contributions, skills, and knowledge, making me feel unfit for a role or unsure in persuading others. There are people who, when in an argument, are sure with their opinion and speak very confidently, although later it turns out they are wrong. I am the opposite; even though I’m right, I tend to humble my opinion by saying, “It’s just my opinion, you should check or ask others,” or waiting for validations from others. I prefer to let my work speak for itself instead of playing up my achievements, causing others to overlook me when opportunities for promotion come.Thank you for reading this far! On a personal note, I'm a naturally curious person, always eager to learn new things and discover more about the world around me. Most of the times I'm introverted, outwardly appearing calm and sometimes withdrawn. Someone said my personality is like deep waters: still on the surface but deep and rich underneath. Although introverted, I have a social nature and cherish friendships. In reality, I’m often amused by how many circles of friends I have compared to friends who only have 1-2 circles. However, I tend to be private and only open up with someone gradually over time. I enjoy giving support to others from behind the scenes rather than in the spotlight.
