Abiodun is a seasoned lawyer specializing in maritime (disputes and finance) law. With a keen focus on client advocacy, I have successfully represented charterers and members of the International Group of Protection and Indemnity Club and clients in various complex matters, including collision claims, charterparty disputes, off-specification bunkers disputes, cargo claims, arrest and release proceedings, port concession disputes (on behalf of concessionaires), unlawful hire deduction disputes, etc. I have cultivated a wealth of knowledge and expertise in the areas of litigation and alternative dispute resolution and routinely offer invaluable advice to clients on shipping and commercial matters.My practice also centers on providing strategic counsel to banks, financial institutions, and ship-owning companies, in relation to loan and security documentation within the maritime sector. Additionally, I have extensive experience advising both buyers and sellers in numerous ship sale and purchase transactions.In addition to my legal practice, I have notably co-authored an article titled "Does the Filing of an Action Keep the Running of Time in Abeyance for the Purposes of Limitation Law? – A Critical Review of the Supreme Court Decision in Sifax (Nig) Ltd v Migfo Nig.
