I am currently the chair of the IEEE IAS student branch at the University of Manchester. IAS SB acts as the main local link to all the valuable resources students can get from IEEE and its different societies. Joining IAS SB provide students the opportunity to join informative meetings, seminars, tutorials, and conferences as well as a chance to advance in the industry and create valuable professional connections.

Eureka has launched a program called Slingshot which helps start-ups in Libya reach their goals and achieve their vision by providing them with support and guidance that include design thinking, strategic planning and business modelling. I lead the M&E team, where I evaluate the progress of 8 start-ups according to the outcome of each phase in the program. I log their progress alongside the team by attending their consultancy and mentorship sessions, producing progress reports as well as creating phase-specific evaluation sheets to benchmark their development. I currently manage the team in a web-based manner.

Abhath is a social enterprise that works on the development and production of prosthetics. I work at the R&D department as a research engineer where we are currently investigating the possibilities of developing our product through studies concerned with EMG classification and artificial neural networks (ANN).
