Used the Wyzant online tutor platform, as well as tutoring students in-person around my community, to help students engage in their own learning through individualized instruction. Not only did I research and use various techniques, but also used educational tools such as IXL, Kahoot, Gimkit, etc. to make learning more fun for the students, thus make learning less intimidating.

5th and 6th grade math teacher with over 100 students per year. I worked with students of all abilities ranging from Inclusion students to GT students. I wrote curriculum for the upcoming year based on analysis from testing results from previous years. Aligned instruction with each grade to make sure students were learning in a consistent manner, as well as aligned the curriculum to the TEKS. Analyzed each student's STAAR test results to create individualized plans.I used outside technological resources such as IXL, Canvas, Google Classroom, Brain Pop, Boom Cards, Prodigy, etc to help enhance student learning.

Worked with 5th and 6th grade students in math using current teaching strategies and aligning curriculum to state standards

During my two years White Settlement, I taught 5th and 6th grade math to over 100 students every year, including several students with IEPs and 504 plans. During this time I took on the full responsibilities of being a lead teacher, writing curriculum, lesson plans, attending Professional Development and Professional Learning Community meetings as well as weekly evaluation meetings of the inclusion students. I lead parent-teacher conferences and worked as a team with parents, administrators, and other teachers to create the best team for each student's success.I used multiple online resources in the classroom to help engage the students and be able to personalize their education more effectively, along with other technology throughout the day. These programs included IXL, Prodigy, Gimkit, Kahoot, etc. I am also proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, Zoom, Teams, Canva, TEKS resource system, Google Slides, Docs, Sheets, Jamboard, etc. I worked with administrators to analyze test scores in order to make instruction and assessment provide optimal results for each student.

Worked with a student who had severe Autism, designing and delivering special individualized curriculum that aligned with state standards and individual needs.

Fulfilled and managed every position in both front and back of house. Worked with outside vendors to make sure the restaurant and all employees had what they needed to succeed. Handled all financials, as well as labor costs.

I was initially hired as a server but quickly worked my way up to every position including server trainer, bartender, shift supervisor, lead shift supervisor, hiring manager, assistant manager, and general manager. Aside from cooking, I held every position and did every job, including financial reporting, data analysis, andd accounting using multiple Microsoft programs. I lead a team of many departments to create a success business and great work environment. I held quarterly meanings to discuss possible changes or suggestions from the staff, including ways to market the restaurant to visitors. During this time I also worked with multiple vendors for our supply while relying on spread sheets for proper inventory.

Worked with the lead teacher in the Special Education department to tailor instruction based on individual needs and abilities.
