My professional journey includes experience in software development, particularly optimising SEO SaaS application and leveraging a micro-service architecture in a dynamic mid-sized startup. This exposure to Search Engine Optimisation provided me valuable insights into the intricacies of end-to-end operations for a data-intensive software product, honing my proficiency in Python, Web Scraping, Concurrent Programming and expanding my knowledge in JAVA, MySQL and Rest APIs. Additionally, I gained hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform, utilising its several fully managed services. In this role, I emphasised ownership, critical thinking, rigorous testing, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to facilitate efficient development and code integration/deployment.I recently graduated from Newcastle University in their Advanced Computed Science programme, where I gained practical knowledge of building APIs, using Docker and Kubernetes to deploy applications onto Cloud Services and using Apache utilities to manage big data. My dissertation project also familiarised me with Apache Flink's stream-processing framework. During my masters program, I worked as a Web Development Intern at a startup, where I further broadened my skill set by designing components in the Flutter framework. Thriving in a high-performing, small-sized agile environment, I cultivated flexibility and confidence in tackling tasks outside my comfort zone, demonstrating my ability to reskill and adapt regardless of the underlying framework or language.I believe my substantial experience of working in a distributed setting and tuning data intensive systems combined with my proactive problem-solving and team collaboration positions me well to contribute to the team's success and foster technical excellence and innovation. I wish to grow as a Software Engineer with every new opportunity I get.
