The SPAM Lab focuses on the conscious and nonconscious ways people orient fundamentally to the world. The research conducted in this lab explores motivational biases in visual and social perception and the consequential effects for behavior and navigation of the social world. The lab's research represents an intersection among social psychology, judgment and decision-making, social cognition, and perception. Projects Include: 1. Racial Biases in Legal Decision Making-Assisted in running, recruiting, and coordinating participants-Collected data using eye-tracking software2.
