Took a couple years off to reconnect with old friends from the pre-pandemic era, assist aging parents with projects around their house, as well as my own personal projects and certifications. Also took the time to recharge the batteries before devoting myself to a new career path. Having worked solidly over an 8.5 year stretch for one employer and without taking much vacation, I needed this time for myself.

As a Sr. Applications Administrator I was responsible for creating, deploying, and maintaining a suite of construction and office applications for 500+ clients. Other responsibilities included supporting Okta SSO web applications, as well as Office 365, SharePoint, Project Online, Teams, Zoom, Autodesk, and Bluebeam Revu administration. Additional responsibilities include: • Work with department heads on project lifecycles regarding software or licensing changes• Plan and execute enterprise-wide software deployments via the Kace Systems Management Appliance• Handle license management and renewals for the majority of our applications• Oversee Windows patch management and feature updates via ConnectWise Automate• Administration of our Help Desk tools including Fresh Service, K1000, and ConnectWise Manage• Train new technology members on any of our client management systems• Act as a point of escalation for our Help Desk and IT Field Technician teams

As an IT Field Technician I was responsible for jobsite setup/breakdown of technology equipment including servers, switches, printers, and other assets within the Seattle area. I also acted as a first line of defense for technology related issues, providing timely and accurate IT support to field employees. Additional responsibilities include: • Troubleshoot and resolve technology related issues in-person, over the phone, or with remote tools• Manage 900+ cellular lines and their costs, covering iPhones, iPads and MiFi devices• Windows client image creation/maintenance via the Kace Systems Deployment Appliance• Document solutions and provide concise instructions to both IT members and field employees• Ordering/Managing of client-side workstations and peripherals• Cable/Terminate low voltage cabling within our job-site trailers

Traveled around the Western US to facilitate/setup technology for new acquisitions or office moves. Other duties included resolving high level hardware/software issues in a fast-paced financial trading atmosphere, acting as a liaison between IT and Operations departments on internal projects, working with low voltage contractors on new office builds and/or remodels, and documenting and optimizing internal processes and procedures.
