Mrc Labor Representative
CurrentAnjulie grew up in Pacific Northwest (PNW). In July 2015 she relocated back to Seattle, WA, and began her career at Local 925. In June 2017 she laterally transferred to Local 925's Member Resource Center as a representational and contract enforcement advocate. This involves developing Shop Stewards for Local 925's public sector membership, predominately classified employees at the University of Washington and its affiliated medical facilities. In her role, she also educates and empowers the membership with an array of collective bargaining rights and worker protections that range from low-level HR matters to arbitration, and everything in between. As a staff liaison and advocate for Chapter Officers, Leaders, and Stewards, she manages representational needs, grievance procedures, negotiations, and settlement agreements for over 4000 members of SEIU 925's anchor Chapter. Her work is centered on helping everyday Washingtonians have a voice in their workplace, enforcing the 'just cause' protections of their union contracts, being treated with fairness and respect throughout grievance proceedings, and assisting the membership in holding Employers accountable, when applicable.
