After completing a tax internship with Weaver and Tidwell, I learned many skills on how to file personal, corporate, fiduciary and partnership tax returns. I improved my skills regarding how to organize workpapers electronically using GoFileRoom, find relevant information for a return and file returns electronically using CCH® Global fx. After concluding my time as an intern, I feel I have gained valuable experience that will help aid in future work for creating and finalizing tax returns for both companies and individuals.

Motivate students to set achievable short and long term goals for the school year. Reinforce concepts that were previously taught in other classrooms in student groups by personalizing the instruction to the needs of the students. Counsel students in preparing for standardized tests such as the SAT and the ACT in order to prepare them for college applications.

Reconciled inventory counts to actual shelf supplies and maintained a pristine, fully-stocked sales floor. Responded promptly and respectfully to all team member questions and requests in order accomplish store goals efficiently. Took a leave of absence to attend Texas Tech University full-time.
