I am a dedicated Moral Injury Specialist with extensive experience in pastoral care, veteran support, and community engagement. For over two decades, I’ve served in pastoral ministry, including 16 years working closely with First Nations communities, which has given me a deep understanding of moral injury, particularly among ministers, educators, first responders, veterans, active duty service members, and those at risk of suicide.Currently, I work with Volunteers of America Northern Rockies, where I provide expertise, education, and training on the effects of moral injury. My role includes collaborating with community partners, establishing peer support groups, and advocating for relational, supportive healing environments. I’m passionate about educating others on the impact of moral injury on mental health and suicide prevention, leveraging both cutting-edge research and real-world experience. My approach is rooted in listening to those who suffer, using storytelling and lived experiences as powerful pathways to healing. I believe that the qualitative aspects of our work—our stories and connections—are as vital as any formal training. My goal is to create spaces where people feel seen, heard, and supported on their journeys toward healing.
