My dream is to make people happy in any circumstances. I have started my journey in social development activities since October 1987. I had worked through different international and national development organizations in Bangladesh. I had implemented significant number of projects on child's education, prevention of domestic violence, combating human trafficking, reducing child labor & child marriage, Water Sanitation and Hygiene and the crisis of Rohingya influx in Bangladesh. Since October 2021 I have been working with Smile Train as Program Director. Smile Train (www.smiletrain.org) is a charity organization, providing free cleft lip and palate treatment. As a development activist my inner force made me confident in project management which includes strategic planning, implementation, monitoring, evaluation, partnership, networking, policy advocacy, capacity building, and disaster response. I have successfully completed 13 projects whose total budget was about 100 million US$. Besides that, I have experience in dealing with research activities related to Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) especially the women entrepreneurship development in Bangladesh and analyzes the related policies.
