Creating innovative electrical distribution services.

Segment Lead of one of the three segments that constitute Microsoft Business over all. Employed in October 2007 to manage the two distributors that supply the Maltese market with Microsoft’s OEM Segment and develop/create lost and inexistent business relationships with existing and potential partners.

Handed sales team and sales support departments responsibilities and a total reshuffle was executed thus enabling every product to mature and grow in sales. This was done through:-• Sectioning Malta and Gozo into sales area and allocating sales representatives for each area• Building a product portfolio for each sales representatives• Creating training programs for the sales team• Creating job specifications for each and every employee within the sales structure• Creating reporting facilities for each representative to visualize everyday his/her particular sales• Creating Customer Support procedures to give life to a better market sensitivity• Employing Brand Merchandisers to focus more and support excellent profit making products• Concentrating more on our customers and monitoring profitability throughout each customer thus ensuring a substantial return to the company• Visiting customers on a regular basis and communicating the new ways of the company• Dealing directly with customers • Monitoring and executing daily the necessary sales related administrative tasks to ensure smooth running of day to day activities within the company• Employing more sales representatives and changing few others to ensure that our customers were given the rightful attention and service• Traveling abroad to and welcoming here in Malta our principals and discuss product evolution, forecasts, marketing budgets, pricing, marketing strategies and other product related issues thus ensuring complete synchronization of the company’s vision with the vision of the principals.• Sourcing more products to add to the existing product portfolio and thus ensuring economies of scale in all the wholesale operation

Employed directly by Wrigley, I was in charge of expanding the Orbit Sugarfree Chewing Gum Brand on the Maltese Islands. During my three years guiding the local agent the product managed over 90% exposure on the market and was and still is the leading confectionery brand.

Heading over 40 production employees, I was incharge or the Ford Section which produced more than 100 different hidden auto switches for Ford. Responsibilities included, recruiting, monitoring, scheduling of production and machine routine maintenance etc.
