My first job was at age 16. It was in a copy shop and, frankly, I hated it. But that's where I learned the value of money and what you can do with it. I learned how to manage myself and how to deal with an audience. So, in retrospective, it was a good job. Later, almost at the end of my career, I worked at a McDonald's. I loved the experience: I worked only on weekends, the crew was excellent, and I learned a lot. Although I didn't last long because I moved and couldn't stay in that store anymore.I took all that learning with me to my other jobs. When I worked as a freelance English instructor, when I worked in English institutes, call centers, etc. I always show my empathetic side to those around me, whether they are customers or co-workers. That, plus a methodical vision of how to develop, coupled with the work experience I have, has led me to climb to management positions in various organizations where I have worked.I believe in active leadership, that which empowers others and serves as an example to the organization. I love teaching languages, writing, proofreading, and surrounding myself with professional people who seek, like me, to grow and give their all. Because you can always grow more.
