CurrentFounder and principal of a Canadian-based odour consulting firm with 31 years of experience in odour assessment in the industrial, agricultural and environmental sectors. Specializing in full odour assessment of facilities that are facing odour complaints including determining and testing at potential odour sources, odour panel evaluation, dispersion modelling to predict off-site odour concentrations, an ambient odour investigation and monitoring using developed techniques in accordance to world standards.Anna manages and designs large-scale consulting projects which include overseeing source sampling and odour panel evaluations, as well as written reports. She also holds training workshops relating to odour issues. A specialist in odour assessment cemented by her active participation, speaking and chairing of many international conferences, Anna was the Chair of the A&WMA EE-6 Odour Committee in the United States for standardization of odour measurements and analysis. She has published over 45 international papers relating to techniques in odour assessment, specifically in community odour surveys. She developed two recognized methodologies for odour emissions from fugitive and area sources which are widely used. Having also developed various techniques for odour panel evaluations. Also an active participant in the development of odour sampling techniques at international conferences. The organizer of three international odour conferences.Having obtained a Masters Degree in Biology and Earth Science, Anna is a member of the Air and Waste Management Association, Water Environmental Federation and the International Water Association. She is also a member of the International Odour Committee, US EE-6 Odor Committee and ASTM Sensory Committee. She is the key chair of odour sessions at the Air and Waste Management Association (AWMA) annual conferences and is an active participant in reviewing submitted papers.
